Manual process
The vine cultivation in Lanzarote is mainly manual and unique in the world, like our wine.
Vine cultivation
The grapes are grown in a deep hole in the shape of an inverted cone covered with volcanic sand , which protects the plant from wind and keeps the plant moistened.
Volcanic Malvasía
The main local grape variety used is “Volcanic Malvasía”.
Own “must bank”
Bodega Vulcano was the first winery in Lanzarote in having a “must bank (unfermented grape juice)”, kept at low temperatures.
Fresh wine
This system has allowed us to produce wine several times a year, obtaining an exquisite quality and freshness.
